Detroit has the best point total in the league from new members to a team.

Always good to get a W! Even if it is against a decimated team.
The real test will be the next 3 games! 2 in the sunshine state and 1 in the other big D.
I real like this Berggren guy! I think he is progressing into a big time play maker! He will be great with Kasper next year!
Ville looked good, I wonder what is in store for Ned???? Hellberg has not played yet in GR. The other 2 goalies in GR are getting shelled!!!! 10 goals against this weekend vs Texas!

Yeesh on the GR goalies. That’s a lot of rubber hitting the twine

Yeah, GR is worst in the AHL for goals allowed. I watch the highlights often and all the goalies are giving up bad goals every game but the defensive play in front of them hasn't looked good either. Like i said, i only catch the highlights on their youtube account but from those defensively the teams looks like the Wings did last season. They have a lot of talented young defensemen but seem to have gotten worst defensively as a team. I don't know if the issue is more about all the new players or if the coach has had to switch their systems to match the Wings systems and that is causing them more issues. I don't know if they still have GR playing the same systems as the Wings to make it easier on players getting called up. I think they did that in the past but i don't know if they still do that or if the GR coach puts in his own systems.

I don't know what's going on with the Griffins... they flat out suck right now. I do think they are better than what their record shows in terms of talent. They are a discombobulated mess at the moment. I'm going to the game on Wednesday this week since I got free tickets. Was hoping to eventually see Cossa or Hellberg play in person. With both Berggren and Czarnik up in Detroit that is not going to help the offense in GR either.

They are teaching Edvinsson patience and perseverance, as he hasn't been on a losing team since pee-wee.
I find it surprising as they have some good players other than the goal-tending. Bednar is not doing well in the Q, whereas Van Pottelberghe and Gylander are doing very good in the Swiss league and at Colgate, respectively. I don't know when they might come to GR, in Van Pottelberghe's case maybe never???
